FXTM

About the team behind this review

An independent editorial desk that tests and writes about FXTM for readers in India, with no tie to the broker and no financial services of its own.

Costs at our featured broker

Starting from one page

Take the page on FXTM's account types. It was first written after a test account was opened, funded and used for a short period. Months later, a reader pointed out that the minimum deposit figure no longer matched what the broker's own site showed. That single correction is the reason every page here carries a date and a note on when it was last checked.

From that example comes the general rule. We treat every page as a claim that can age. The team revisits each published review on a fixed cycle, and sooner if the broker changes its terms, its fees or its product set. Pages are not left to stand on the strength of a first reading.

We are an editorial resource, not a service provider. This site does not open accounts, hold deposits, place orders or give advice. We are not FXTM and have no ownership or agency link to it. Nothing published here is a recommendation to trade.

How the site pays

The site is funded by advertising and by commercial arrangements with parties who may have an interest in the broker market. Those arrangements are kept away from the editorial desk. The people who test the broker and write the verdicts do not negotiate them and are not paid by result.

No broker, including FXTM, pays for a score, a rating or a place in a comparison. There is no route by which a payment changes a finding. If a commercial relationship exists with anyone mentioned on a page, it is disclosed on that page in plain terms.

The separation is not a formality. It is the reason the reviews can say that a spread is wide or a fee is high when that is what the testing shows.

Testing and scoring

Each review is built from direct use. A member of the team registers an account, completes verification where possible, deposits a modest sum, places trades across the asset classes on offer, and records what happens. We note execution times, spread behaviour at quiet and busy hours, the fee schedule as it is actually applied, withdrawal handling and the quality of support answers.

The scoring is fixed before testing begins, so a result cannot be adjusted to fit an impression. Criteria are weighted and each carries a written note explaining the score. Where a factor could not be tested from India, the page says so rather than filling the gap.

Scores are relative to the criteria, not a promise of any outcome. They describe what we observed during the test window.

Challenging what we publish

Readers who believe a page is wrong can use the contact form on this site. A short message with the page, the point at issue and, where possible, a source is enough. The editorial team reads these messages and replies where a correction or a clarification is needed.

When a challenge is upheld, the page is amended and the change is noted. When it is not, we explain why in the reply. We do not remove a finding because a reader disagrees with it, and we do not alter a score to settle a complaint.

The same route is open to the broker. If FXTM believes a statement is inaccurate, it can write through the contact form and the team will check the claim against the evidence held.

Sources and their limits

Facts come from the broker's own published terms, fee schedules and product documents, from the test account records, and from correspondence with support. Where a public register or regulator publishes information, that is used and cited. We do not invent figures, and we do not fill an empty field with an estimate presented as fact.

Every fact is checked by a second member of the team before publication and again at each scheduled revisit. If a source cannot be confirmed, the page states that plainly.

A review has limits. It describes one broker at one point in time, from the perspective of a reader in India. It cannot tell you whether trading suits you, whether you can afford a loss, or how the broker will behave in conditions we did not observe. It is a record of testing, not a guarantee, and it should be read alongside your own judgement.
